Creator Commerce

Web Design | Branding | Pitch Deck

LA-based startup Creator Commerce empowers social media content creators to launch self-branded shops and make sustainable income selling on behalf of their favorite brands.

As Creator Commerce was getting off the ground, we stepped in to support them by creating a thorough investor pitch deck, detailed design system, 37-page brand guide, updated logo, and a brand-centered landing page.

SF Connected Chiropractic

Logo Design

SF Connected Chiropractic is a mobile delivery service that brings chiropractic care to your front door throughout the Bay Area.

Drawing inspiration from the Bay’s very own SF Giants branding, the SF Connected Chiropractic logo combines an energetic, sporty & approachable type style with a imagery of a spinal cord & electrical plug which visually represent the connection that the spine has to one’s overall wellbeing & health.

Dark Entries Records

Web Design | Branding

In collaboration with Denis Makhlin, this update of the Dark Entries Records online store by our design collective fieldtripday design LLC was a highly anticipated & much-needed upgrade for a cherished local business.

Established in 2009 by Josh Cheon, Dark Entries releases out of print and unreleased underground music as well as contemporary bands. All of the Dark Entries releases are a carry over from the DIY days of 1980’s independent record labels.

Annual Report

Digital | Campaign | Web Design | Branding

Given the shift to remote work during the pandemic, our team knew that the 2020-2021 Annual Report would need to take a new form.

This 1st Place award-winning design creatively recognizes & honors our organization’s achievements, in spite of a global pandemic.

Congrats Grads

Large Scale Installation Design

In honoring our 2022 SFSU Graduates, our team created a large-scale photo op for students. The photo backdrop featured our mascot, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the Cesar Chavez Student Center at SFSU. The setup consisted of 5 large foam-core pieces, in addition to 2 smaller removable pieces – the graduation cap & pennant – allowing us the opportunity to customize the piece for future use.

Fall Retreat: Moving Together Into Greatness

Pamphlet Design | Banner Design | Shirt Design

Our 2021 Fall Retreat welcomed back many SFSU students to campus since the COVID-19 pandemic had begun.

In an effort to create a welcoming & inviting physical space, the branding for this event honed in on tactile elements that aligned with the theme of “moving together into greatness” – a printed pamphlet featuring hand lettering & custom photography, custom branded t-shirts, and athletics-style banners.

Policy Agenda

Digital | Presentation Design

As the AS Board of Directors aimed to release the organization’s Annual Policy Agenda, the task was to design a straightforward, easy to read, and accessible report that could be shared out internally & with our community.

Prop Design

Ephemera | Print | Prop Design | Branding

The Arrival, a graphic novel by Shaun Tan, illustrates the epic journey of a father migrating to a new & unfamiliar world in search for a better life for him & his family.

In imagining a book-to-film adaptation of this moving story, this passion-project explores the ephemera which are critical in telling this wordless tale.

Earth: A Memory

Ephemera | Print | Book Design | Photography

Earth: A Memory is a self-published, hand-stitched chapbook revealing critical global warming data through photography, transparent data visualizations, and reclaimed materials such as the recycled thread binding & hand-made paper cover.

What began as a visual translation of a poem – Africa by Yosuke Tanaka – quickly became a multimedia exploration of: textures & light patterns using reclaimed materials such as analog library slides; digital photography editing & manipulation; turning brown paper bags into pulp & creating handmade paper; publication layout & bookbinding.
